Ugh, poor call quality.  Haven't we all been there?

Just like your normal day to day cell phone calls, RingCentral call quality can be an issue at times too.

Unfortunately, occasional choppiness or dropped calls are to be expected.

But when it's more than just an occasional issue, here are some tips

to improve RingCentral mobile call quality....

1.) Do you have good cell phone signal?

RingCentral uses your cell phone coverage, so poor cell signal will unfortunately equal poor RingCentral quality.

The only solution is to wait until you have better coverage.

(or try standing on the edge of your bath tub while simultaneously holding the shower curtain rod and a metal coat hanger)

*legal disclaimer: that last part was supposed to be funny.  We are in no way responsible for bath tub related injuries...

2.)  Turn on Echo Cancelation

Go to your RingCentral mobile app > menu > settings > my mobile app settings > voip calling

Turn Echo Cancellation ON

3.)  Turn on HD Voice (if available)

Go to your RingCentral mobile app > menu > settings > my mobile app settings > voip calling

Turn HD Voice ON

3.)  The good ol' turn it off and back on trick

Skip straight to the chase and try a full blown uninstall and reinstall of the RingCentral mobile application.

You'd be surprised how often that fixes things.
